Moon-McGehee Chapter
The Daughters of the Republic of Texas

The 1932 DRT Marker

In 1932 the San Marcos Moon-McGehee Chapter, The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, erected a stone marker (right) near the old Burleson cabin.  Now found near a walking trail that was abandoned when the theme park closed, the marker sits some 50 yards from the cabin replica in an area which is currently closed to the public.
